Yes, when prescribed appropriately by qualified doctors. All Ayurveda medicines are made from natural sources. All medicine compositions are referred from the ayurvedic texts like Ashtangahrudhaya, Charaka Samhita, Sahasrayogam, Madhava Nidhanam and all our medicine manufacturing factories are certified by ISO and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).

As per Ayurvedic protocol, in terms of exercise, one cannot indulge in jogging, brisk walking, and swimming sport or any kind of strenuous work. You can take a mild walk inside our premises. A strict food diet should be followed for some particular medicines and diseases like avoiding non-veg foods, curd, pickles, etc.

All kinds of authentic ayurvedic treatments are done in Kandamkulathy Vaidyasala like treatments for arthritis, diabetes, obesity, spine and joint care, psoriasis, migraine, infertility, rheumatic diseases, etc. All panchakarma treatments are done traditionally.

Yes. It is 2 weeks of treatment schedule, it may vary according to the condition of the patient.

Our hospitals are at Athirappilly, Chalakudy and Mala in Thrissur district, Kaloor in Ernakulam district and Paalayam in Trivandrum district. 

Our hospital at Athirappilly is like Kerala-style cottages with a beautiful herbarium garden, on the bank of Chalakudy river. Standard non-AC rooms and deluxe AC rooms with attached bathroom and TV along with an in-house restaurant with all kinds of foods (on demand) are available.

In other hospitals, standard AC and non-AC, fully furnished rooms with attached bathroom and TV are available. Food will be brought to the rooms.

The housekeeping staff will help you in washing clothes and there will be minimal charges applied for washing clothes.

Free wifi facility will be provided in the room which can be used for all kinds of social networking facilities.

Our chief physician is Dr. Rosemary Wilson, all treatments are done under her guidance. We have very skilled residential doctors in all hospitals who take care of the wellbeing of the patients on every day and inspect daily treatments. 

All the therapists are qualified and patient-friendly and are being employed in our hospitals for years.

We do not have a tie-up with any of the insurance companies. Hence Cashless settlement of bills is not allowed.

We do provide all relevant documents on request for getting a reimbursement. Please get the list of documents required from your insurance agent before coming for admission.

Food is part of treatment, and for better results of treatments, we insist vegetarian food only supplied from the canteen as per the direction of the doctors.

• According to the nature of the illness, food items are decided. 

• Generally, it will be low fat, low salt and less spicy without oil. Guests on a medical program will be put on a custom diet.

Patients are not allowed for any travel, while in treatment at Kandamkulathy Ayurveda Hospital. For best results, start your treatment after all your journeys, to, rejuvenate yourself.
